History:
Leland was born into privilege as an English noble. He grew up with the finest things, clothing, toys, education, and
the works. At a young age he discovered a love of all animals. He was always surrounded by them, his father’s horses,
the cats in the stables, and his fathers hunting dogs. When he was older and able to ride, he began to join his father on
the hunt. He had always enjoyed being outside, and riding through the woods was one of his favorite pastimes. When things
were too chaotic, as it often was after his brother was born, Leland escaped into the country side.
Leland always got along with his parents, though his father expected a great deal of his first son. Leland was expected
to be a perfect first born, strong, athletic and proud. The fact that he was more soft hearted than his father though proper
for a man, was a bit of a let down. But He is never the less skilled in all he does, which is a source of great annoyance
for his brother. Despite a great deal of competitiveness between the two, the brothers are close. They don’t agree on
much as they are practically opposites, but their bond as brothers is stronger than any argument.
Leland went to school as a young man, and learned all the fine skills he would need to go on with his life. But at heart
Leland is a trade smith. He would rather be outside working with his hands. If he had a choice he would live on a ranch and
breed horses for the rest of his life. But his father wishes for him to become part of the Courts.
He has been pestered by his mother for a year now to marry because she wants grandchildren. But all the woman he meets
are traditional noble woman, they’re far too meek and prissy for him. Though he wants a woman with nobility and class,
he wants a woman who enjoys what he does.
